As part of the upcoming retrospective exhibition Captive Coal at the Sharp Museum of Southern Illinois University, there will be a screening of Work At Hand followed by a conversation with Michael K. Paxton. The exhibition runs January 16 through May 10, 2024.

As part of the College Art Association Annual Conference being held in Chicago this year and as part of their Offsite Events catalogue, the screening of the documentary film Work at Hand will take place Thursday February 13, 2020, 6:30-8:15pm in the Hokin Lecture Hall, Room 109 of Columbia College Chicago, 623 South Wabash Building, First Floor. Director/Producer Peter Hartel, Associate Professor, Columbia College and Michael K. Paxton, Chicago Artist and Adjunct Faculty of Columbia College will be in attendance.
