He will be joined by Dr. Robert Cohen, an international expert on black lung. Moderator for the talk will be Adrienne Kochman, Curator of UIMA and the driving force for this exhibition. On March 29th a screening of the documentary film "Work At Hand, Michael K. Paxton" will be presented at Chaplin Theater at Raleigh Studios 5300 Melrose Avenue Los Angeles, CA. Doors open at 7:00pm, Screening 7:30, following the screening there will be a Q&A with the filmmaker Peter Hartel and artist Michael K. Paxton.
Michael is pleased to announce that his one-person exhibition of large scale paintings and works on paper titled "Pillars of Dust" will open September 28th at the Heuser Art Center Gallery of Bradley University, Peoria, IL and run through November 6th. A planned screening of the documentary film will also be part of the exhibition. Exact time/date for the screening to be posted later.
